The day before vacation work was complete insanity. We also had two families come over that night for a pizza/pool party which was rescheduled from the prior week due to rain. I bumped into someone on my way to work that day and wound up inviting that family too so we had 8 adults and 10 kids over....it was a blast!
Next morning kids went to camp and I packed us up. We got to the beach house late afternoon and friends of ours joined a few hours later. After dinner we took the kids to the little amusement park in the evening - so fun. Yesterday and today cooked up breakfast at home, packed lunch in the cooler and hung out at the beach all day....well, except for me. :) The little guy usually is done after 2 hours so he and I head back. He naps and I am doing everything possible to organize/delete the 3k+ emails in my inbox!
It's around 3:30 now and everyone is getting showered and ready for an early dinner, mini golf and then our friends hit the road to go home. We'll have 3 more days here.
