Had a great time on a mini vacation to Disney.

Back to the grind this week!   I had a productive train ride in this morning organizing all the recipes I am going to make for Thanksgiving since I am hosting.  My brother is in charge of apps, my mom is bringing stuffing and fresh cranberry sauce.  I think this year I am going to grill the turkey and also plan to make:

• zucchini casserole
• marshmallow sweet potatoes
• mashed potatoes
• pumpkin cornbread
• green bean casserole
• orange ginger glazed carrots
• parmesan asparagus

For dessert I am making pumpkin cheesecake, cranberry apple pie and pumpkin chocolate chip bars.  I have in my head that I will also make cranberry ice cream, but I am worried I won't have time to do that -- so we'll see.

Started my Christmas shopping and hope to be done before the month is out.  Planning to get Christmas photos for our holiday card done this weekend since their Christmas outfits arrived.
Busy but fun stuff. :)
