Repurposing Toys

Today's Get It Done Tip comes from my coworker who shared a great idea with me for getting more mileage out of kids toys. 

My colleauge had a Barbie house that her daughter wasn't playing with anymore that she was going to throw away.  She decided to let her daughter paint the barbie house to look like a home for her favorite Monster High dolls.  
 

The end result? An old toy turned new for her daughter to play with.  She now loves it and uses it for her monster high dolls. 

What a great idea considering my kids love to paint!

PS - My husband loved yesterday's dinner of beefy broccoli rollups.  The kids liked them too.  Forgot to take a photo, but it is a keeper.
